Technical Information 101

Quite frankly I fell awkward writing this section knowing we still have so much more to learn. Our main motto around here is, “The only thing we know for sure is that we don’t know enough.”

In this section there are some old school links that many of us have read and should read again. I have worked with high-end race teams and the same basic thing is common across the board. They have a tenacious will to win and the burning desire to push the envelope. Failure is inevitable to learn. This information below is my personal experience and by no means gospel. I am honestly just trying to help at least one person not have to go through the pains that we have.

Mercury racing is the benchmark of our sport. You have to give credit where credit is due. These guys know there stuff. I have a huge admiration for their product, engineering, reliability and amazing accomplishments in the world of boat racing. I have been fortunate to work for Mercury on a professional level (non engine related) and they are wonderful group of people. Mercury racing has been a big inspiration for me.
