Johnson/Evinrude RWF Heads
Like our pistons the DBR cylinder heads have been in development for years, winning hundreds of races. 3.3 and 3.0 are available. Dyno developed and race proven, this 7071 billet aluminum design features top hat style combustion chambers with unique reverse water flow cooling. Designed and built for strength, these heads hold up to the high combustion pressure of pro fuel and nitrous engines. Cool water from the top of the block is rerouted through external lines to the hotter running cylinders 5 and 6. Water flows in reverse out the top of the heads. Engineered for max cooling, there are internal fins and close water routes next to the spark plugs that suck nasty heat away from the plugs and squish band to help eliminate detonation from “on kill” engine tune ups. Heads come drilled and tapped for water temp sensors. Log these temps. Save headaches. Save money. These heads use a Viton 90 durometer o-ring on the combustion chamber and have a virgin soft rubber o-ring for water jackets. These heads come in single and dual plug design. Dual plugs require twin ignition systems. Say good bye to hot running engines. Say hello to huge possible torque.
